The Following Links will provide general information on various aspects of our Group:

One day a week we run a few Co-op classes. The Co-op is framed around highschool students. These classes require a higher level of commitment and work. The subjects are challenging and include homework and assignments to be handed in. The classes are taught by the families whose children are attending - this is not a drop-off  function. Typically the time is 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM. There is a lunch time where students and teachers can connect.

coop1 Because of the assignments and progressive nature of the curriculum, this function of HEART is closed to new participants at the highschool level once the classes get underway in September.

Since this is not a drop-off Co-op, there are also classes geared for the younger siblings of the highschool students. These classes coordinate with the highschool classes and are also taught by the adults who bring their family.

Some of the classes have included: Creative Writing, Art, Music Appreciation, Christian World View, Biology, and Etymology. In 2010-2011 we may be adding a Chemistry class (this would meet twice a week)

There have also been some opportunities for the students to connect outside of the class time for special events.
